Well, for general edification,

The Symposium Proceedings are available through Free Trumpet Press
West. Their web page is http://www.sca.org/heraldry/ftpw. Their
mailing address (if you don't have web access and want an order form)
is SCA Inc. -- Free Trumpet Press West / 1613 N. School St./ Normal
IL 61761-1240. (I see Free Trumpet Press West has moved East.

There is an index to these proceedings (by author, by topic, by
volume, I think) on the Laurel web page:
http://www.sca.org/heraldry/laurel/kwhs/

There are appendices to the Administrative Handbook which list books
of standard references (reccommended) and some name books to avoid
(obviously, not reccomended.) To head off a not-uncommon
misconception, if something is "in a standard reference" that doesn't
mean it's "automatically OK." The standard reference might say the
armorial element or name was invented in 1943: not OK... the reason
the book is a standard reference is it can point out the difference
between period things and nonperiod things.

There are some Bibliography-type articles in the KWHS Proceedings.

The Laurel web page in general has a lot of very useful educational
articles and links, and should be explored...
