Hi again!

I just wanted to caution against the use of the O&A as "documentation". While most current entries are accurately documented themselves, many of the older entries were registered well before the last two rule changes in which documentation standards for names were tightened up, and are not registrable today. The point being that just because it's been registered in the past doesn't mean that it can be registered now.

The O&A _is_ a good place to start, looking for names that might appeal to you, but you should still do your own research to make sure that you can document the use of a particular name before you submit it. There is nothing more frustrating for a non-heraldic submitter (and even the consulting herald!) than having a name submission turned down for poor documentation, or the lack of any documentation whatsoever.

DO NOT use the O&A as your sole source of documentation for ANY submission, name or armorial, for the reasons stated above.
